Lineal Side Notching Die |

| This is yet another of the many Lineal Fabrication Die/Presses that R.S. Tool Inc. has custom designed and produced. The fabricator/customer needed a way to notch both sides of the part as it is being extruded. The fabrication requires a pair of 1/8" deep X 1" wide notches with 55 degree bevels on each end of the notch, every two inches of travel. This die/press will be mounted stationary after the puller. The fabricator will connect their own pneumatic hoses, fittings, pilot valve and utilize a Control panel from another RS Tool product on their floor, to cut costs. This tool utilizes twin custom made horizontally opposed slide punches with air cylinder activation and spring return mechanisms. Punches and die sections are A-2 tool steel inserts for simple maintenance and replacement. Slide punch holders are A-2 hardened and precision ground and include oil access service ports. Entire unit weighs less than 100lbs and can be easily mounted to any stationary table In Line or can also be used Off Line for secondary punching operations.
